Live wherever, work remotely (Ideally PST hours), and travel to LA (on the company dime) as needed to be with your colleagues —somewhere between monthly and quarterly.

This is a full-time role as a Founding Engineer at Hadrius, located in New York, NY. The team is largely remote, but our main office is in New York City on Wall Street where you’ll be working a few days a week. We will frequently get together - either in NYC, or SF, or at a week long Airbnb in some cool location, to work together in-person 3-5 times a year.

NodeKit is the composability layer that allows blockchains to unlock synchronous communication. This is achieved through SEQ, the decentralized shared sequencer L1, and Javelin, the super builder. Traditionally, rollups provided scale to blockchains but lacked a way to communicate with one another synchronously. As a Software Engineer at NodeKit, you will work closely with the founding team to build highly performant systems on the bleeding edge of blockchain technology. Your primary focus will be developing the core systems built on top of SEQ, including the transaction processing, block building, storage systems, and maintaining compatibility with existing rollups building on top of SEQ.





Responsibilities

Contribute to design and development of SEQ and other key components of NodeKit’s blockchain infrastructure.

Write production-ready software, primarily in Go and Rust

Execute projects in a timely manner from initial design to development.

Skills & Qualifications

Software development experience required

Experience building performance-optimized systems preferred

Experience with one or more backend language (Go, Rust, C++)

Preferred Experience

Experience working on a L1 or L2 Blockchain in the past 

Familiarity with distributed systems

Passion for building blockchain based systems
