I started to work at Demand.io thanks to Ranker's CEO recommendation. I was the first contractor for the team and the only recruiter who brought high-skill engineers from Latam.

I helped hire Frontend, Backend, Fullstack, Mobile, and architect engineers. 

My responsibilities as a Technical Recruiter include but are not limited to: 
• Experience in recruiting passive candidates rather than merely selling a role.
• Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities.
• Interview candidates by combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, and behavioral questions)
• Arrange interviews with the Hiring Manager.
• Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.
• Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work.
• Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.
• Working in a fast-paced environment.

🏅 We grew the engineering teams with 20 amazing engineers.

I joined Ranker thanks to a candidate's recommendation. He was in one of my hiring processes and recommended me to his CTO.

Here I took ownership of the hiring process and I was the only recruiter for LATAM. I worked in a fast-paced environment with passive candidates. I also was able to meet the deadlines, reduce the hiring process to a few days, and negotiate great contracts for both parties. 

I prioritized the candidate's experience and enjoyed and learned a lot from my Hiring Managers.

Freelancer

After starting to get to know a bit more about the selection and hiring process I started my HR bachelor's Degree at one of the most recognized universities in the country. I felt like a fish in the water.

After meeting a great teacher and tutor I began my path in the tech industry like she did. I took another course to go deep in this field and started to do some freelance jobs for a few agencies.

I had the opportunity to recruit several roles like DevOps Engineers, Tech Leads, Developers, QC & QA, Graphic designers, UX & UI designers, Business Analyst, Project Managers, Data Scientists, Architects, and Mobile Developers.

One day, after my shop was robbed, I decided to go back to the customer service in a well-known store.
I had the chance to lead a team, meet sales goals, and improve the storage of products.

Here is when I started to familiarize myself with human resources. I selected and coached the new employees and started to use some techniques to improve the team's performance.

Later then having worked as a customer focus people I begin my journey as an entrepreneur. I took a course as a Hairstylist and did a few internships. I opened my own shop and managed all aspects from customer service to financial and providers.

It was not easy to maintain a business but it was a great journey where I met many interesting people, made friends, learned about resilience, and how to take advantage of the resources.

We're building a new way to think and work with numbers. Causal is a tool for performing calculations, visualising data, and communicating with numbers. We take the good parts of spreadsheets and combine them with the good parts of programming, to make number-crunching fast, collaborative, and accessible to everyone. We are well-funded by some great VCs (Accel, Coatue, Passion Capital) and angel investors (Naval Ravikant, Scott Belsky, and many more) across the US and Europe.

We have to solve various difficult engineering/UX problems:

Our spreadsheet-esque frontend interface: This interface comes with a slew of UI/UX challenges to support complex functionality without being complicated, and needs to be incredibly performant. Causal needs a low floor and a high ceiling — it should be simple enough for anyone to get started with, but powerful enough for really complex use-cases.

Our dashboarding and data visualisation capabilities: We have to allow users to create beautiful charts and tables to communicate with numbers.

Product Engineer

We won't be able to offer visa sponsorship for our open roles

We are generally remote first but in London, candidates should expect to spend some time in-person, but it's not fully on site. London is flexible hybrid and the other 2 areas (Toronto and NYC) are remote but we do have team there who may sometimes work in person.

Merlin has built an AI interviewer that can ask follow-up questions, like a conversation, but at the scale and ease of use of a survey.

We are growing fast and funded by **Sequoia** + **AI Grant**!
