For the past month, we've worked hand-in-hand with a group of Paraform recruiters to answer one central question. How do we create an experience where you can do your best work? We kept hearing the same story over and over again: too many recruiters on roles, being stretched too thin, feeling like your work is becoming transactional.
After a series of successful beta tests, we’re excited to release Primary Roles Slots + Single Submissions to all recruiters on Paraform.
When you log in to Paraform today, you’ll select a set of roles to focus on as your Primary Roles. And when you have a strong one-off candidate for a role you don't have slotted, you can use a Single Submission to still get them in front of the hiring team without needing full role approval.

1. Curate your Primary Role Slots
You can view all roles you've selected as Primary on your homepage.

2. Role approval --> automatically becomes a Primary slot
When you request approval for a role, that role will be treated as a role you're actively prioritizing, meaning it will automatically be added to one of your Primary Role Slots.

3. Removing a Primary Role (withdrawals)
To remove a primary role, click on the three dots icon at the top right of your role card and select "Withdraw from role". Please note that you have a limited amount of withdrawals per week, so make sure to choose your primary roles carefully!

4. Requesting more Role Slots
Most recruiters start with five primary roles, but you can request more as needed with "Request slot" once you've filled your current slots. We’ll review case-by-case based on whether your current slots are being actively worked on.

5. Activity Expectations
Please note: To keep a role as primary, we do ask you to maintain one submission per week. Primary Slots are meant to reflect the roles you’re actively working. If a role isn’t being worked, we may remove it from your slots to create room for another recruiter. (If you’re blocked by market constraints, use the feedback pathways we provide—we want that intel.)
Single Submissions are built for a more candidate-first approach: when you have a high-caliber candidate for a role that isn't a Primary role, you can submit them directly without requiring role approval.
1. Weekly allowance
You will start with a set number of Single Submissions each week (shown on your dashboard). Whenever a Single Submission results in a first-round interview, you’ll earn that credit back so you can use another Single Submission.

2. Flexible usage
Single Submissions can be used flexibly, meaning you can use them to submit one candidate to 5 roles, or 5 candidates submitted to one each. We strongly recommend you focus on just single submitting candidates that you know are high-caliber candidates.
3. Performance-based adjustments
If your Single Submissions are consistently strong, we can increase your allowance; if they’re consistently misaligned, we may reduce it.
4. Pipeline visibility
When you single submit, you’ll be able to view your candidates' process by going to the "Active Pipeline" tab of your candidate CRM. Single submitted candidates are marked by a purple paper airplane icon.
Going forward, only submissions towards Primary Roles will count towards challenge eligibility.
