At Paraform, we know that recruiting doesn't always go as planned. You can put in hours of thoughtful work, only to have a role pause or close due to factors beyond your control.

To recognize that effort, the Paraform Guarantee is our safeguard designed to ensure your work is valued, even when hiring outcomes are delayed or disrupted.

Why We Created the Paraform Guarantee

Our goal at Paraform is to make recruiting a little more predictable and a lot more rewarding. We believe that when you consistently deliver quality work, you deserve acknowledgment, even if a hiring process changes course unexpectedly.

The Paraform Guarantee was built to provide financial assurance for recruiters who demonstrate strong engagement and candidate quality on roles that are paused or withdrawn before a hire is made.

What It Means for Recruiters

The Paraform Guarantee ensures that:

  • Your work is recognized, not lost: You'll receive acknowledgment even when roles shift or conclude unexpectedly.
  • You have greater stability: Recruiting outcomes can vary, but your efforts will always have a foundation of support.
  • You can focus on quality, not uncertainty: By reducing the risks of external change, we help you stay focused on delivering great candidates.

A Commitment to Fairness and Partnership

The Paraform Guarantee represents our commitment to making recruiting on Paraform as fair and rewarding as possible. We know that every candidate outreach, screening, and submission represents real time and expertise, and we want to ensure that investment is respected.

When It Applies

A Paraform Guarantee may be issued when:

  • A role you're slotted on closes for reasons other than a hire by you on that role
  • OR a role you're slotted on is paused for at least 14 consecutive days


Eligibility looks at the depth of your work on the role, not the role's final outcome:

  • You were slotted on the role as a primary recruiter
  • You submitted multiple reviewed candidates (the more substantive your engagement, the stronger your standing)
  • At least one of your candidates reached at least a first-round interview
  • You did not make a hire on the role (if your candidate got hired, the placement fee supersedes the Paraform Guarantee payment)

How It Works

  1. Identification of Eligible Roles. Roles that reach a terminal state (closed or paused 14+ days) are evaluated automatically for Paraform Guarantee eligibility.
  2. Evaluation of Effort. We consider the depth and uniqueness of your contribution: how many reviewed candidates you submitted, the quality of those candidates, and how far they progressed.
  3. Notification. If you qualify, you'll see a notification in-app the next time you visit /recruit. You'll be asked to complete a short rejection-reason form for the top candidates you submitted on that role.
  4. Payment. Once you submit the form, the payout is queued and processed within a few business days.
  5. Request Review. If a role you worked on closes or pauses, you believe you met the criteria above, and you didn't receive a Paraform Guarantee, contact team@paraform.com within 30 days of the role's terminal date. Our team will review your activity on the role against the standard criteria and process a payout if you qualify.

Please include in your message:

  • The role title and company name
  • The date you understood the role to have closed or paused
  • A brief note on the candidates you submitted
