About this role

We're looking for a hungry, client-obsessed operator to own Paraform's most complex and highest-impact customer engagements, drive revenue and efficiency within a vertical, and shape how our marketplace grows in the role types that matter most.


Paraform's customer base is growing rapidly (hundreds of new customers a month!), and Strategic Project Leads are the commercial engine behind our growth. As an SPL, you'll own a book of business, working directly with founders and senior talent leaders to drive the hires that generate Paraform's revenue.


You'll also drive how Paraform wins in your vertical, focused on both revenue growth and efficiency. Whether that's AI/ML engineering, GTM, or another role type, you'll go deep on what it takes to fill those roles at a high bar and partner across Paraform teams (e.g., Sales, Supply) to make the whole system better at it.


This role blends account ownership, commercial execution and fast-paced operations. If you're motivated to crush targets, thrive in ambiguous environments, and want to own outcomes that matter- this is the role for you.


What you'll do:

  • Own a book of business: Build deep relationships with founders, CXOs, and senior operators. You are accountable for the revenue generated from your accounts — every hire you drive is a direct win.

  • Run engagements end-to-end: Lead structured intake calls, shape comp and requirements using market data, and drive execution across complex searches with urgency and precision.

  • Leverage Paraform's recruiter capacity: Mobilize recruiters, calibrate them in real time, and hold a high standard for quality and speed.

  • Grow your vertical: Drive revenue growth and efficiency within your vertical, partnering with teams across our org (e.g., Sales to drive demand/win key accounts, Supply to build recruiter depth in your vertical). Surface patterns- what's converting, where fill rate breaks down, which customer/candidate profiles compound- that shape how we expand.

  • Shape how we grow: Feed customer insight back across the business and partner with Sales, Supply, Product, and Engineering to influence how Paraform evolves at scale.


What we look for:

  • 3-6 years of experience owning customer relationships, driving business decisions, and owning revenue outcomes — consulting and startup experience in operations, new verticals, or similar high-ownership roles

  • You're comfortable with performance-based comp and motivated by a target, not intimidated by it

  • You've sold to or managed relationships with founders, CXOs, or senior operators

  • Magnetic presence and customer skills — you know how to earn trust quickly, hold the room with senior operators, and push back without losing the relationship

  • Sharp 80/20 instincts — you know where to spend your time and don't lose the thread across competing priorities

  • Hunger and scrappiness — you've built things without a full toolkit, moved fast under ambiguity, and found the fix when the playbook didn't exist

  • Crisp written and verbal communication
