Loop AI is building the back-office operating system for restaurants and retail.

We’re in a moment where it’s possible to build billion-dollar restaurant brands in just a few years—driven by digital ordering and delivery. But behind that growth is operational chaos: delivery reconciliation, financial reporting, and performance data scattered across tools, emails, and spreadsheets.

Loop AI’s agents take that over—giving operators a real-time view of whether they’re making or losing money, and acting on it.

Founded in 2022 by Anand Tumluru, Loop AI now powers over 10,000 restaurants across the country, from San Francisco brands like Mixt and Lazy Dog to national groups like McDonald’s and Jollibee. After announcing a $14M Series A in early 2026, the company set aggressive growth and revenue targets for the year ahead.

The Challenge: Demand was there, but the team to capture it wasn't

As Loop AI scaled, demand quickly outpaced headcount.

The company’s model required high human touch - from closing deals to onboarding customers. But behind the scenes, sales and customer success teams were stretched thin.

At one point, the imbalance became so severe that Loop AI had to pause onboarding new customers entirely - placing them in a queue for later. Every delayed onboarding meant delayed revenue, but the team simply didn’t have the capacity to support them properly.

Internally, hiring became all-consuming. Anand, Loop AI’s CEO, was spending the majority of his time running interviews - sometimes 25 to 30 calls a week - while still trying to operate the business.

It wasn’t sustainable, nor was it a good use of his time.

At the same time, a feedback loop emerged. Hiring more salespeople increased demand, but without enough customer success capacity, onboarding bottlenecks only got worse.

The issue wasn’t just hiring speed. It was structure.

Loop AI was hiring individual contributors one at a time, without leaders in place to own functions, pipelines, or KPIs. Growth wasn’t constrained by demand - it was constrained by organization.

The Solution: One role turned into dozens

Anand heard about Paraform at a founder dinner. A peer had used it to hire their founding engineer - something Anand assumed only worked through personal networks.

He was skeptical but curious, so he handed Paraform a single role to test.

The results came fast. Within days, 20 recruiters were working the role and candidates were moving through. The volume and quality were unlike anything he'd seen before - and it immediately changed how he thought about hiring.

If he could generate a pipeline like that for any role, why spend time on incremental hires?

The answer was to go higher: hire leaders who could own functions, build teams, and run their own pipelines.

“Originally, we didn't really have the confidence that we could go find a great leader, but that's one of the things that Paraform actually enabled us to do. It gave us the conviction that we could actually fill those roles in a time-bound way.”

Paraform didn’t just provide candidates - it became a strategic partner.

The team worked closely with Anand to translate revenue goals and headcount plans into a clear org structure, advising on role design, compensation, and how teams should fit together.

"I was an engineer three years ago. I know nothing about what separates a CSM from an implementation manager, or what an AE in Tampa versus New York should make. That consultative experience was an extremely important shortcut."

In the lead-up to their Series A announcement, Paraform helped Loop AI launch nearly 35 roles in a matter of weeks to ensure they were ready to capture the surge of inbound interest.

The results: 14 hires in 4 months - and a system that scales

Loop AI made 14 hires through Paraform in four months across sales and customer success.

Jackie joined as Director of Customer Success and built the CS function from the ground up—designing systems to support a customer base scaling from dozens to thousands of restaurants.

Arthur came in as Director of Inside Sales, stood up the management structure, launched onboarding and training programs, and began ramping a team of AEs and SDRs.

Both now hire their own teams through Paraform.

Today, Loop AI has more than a dozen active roles on the platform, each with strong pipeline and clear structure behind it. The company is back at full speed—and on track for 3–5x growth this year.

“We couldn’t have been as ambitious about this year as we are with Paraform. And honestly, having the quality of people it brings in makes the experience a lot more fun for me and for the team.”
