Highbeam is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. This role involves shaping the future of Highbeam's platform, working closely with engineers, designers, and founders to design, build, and iterate on core products. The successful candidate will own projects end-to-end, from scoping to building, testing, shipping, and refining based on real-world feedback. Highbeam is a banking and cash management platform for businesses that sell physical goods, aiming to automate financial backend tasks for consumer brands. The team is small but mighty, coming from companies like Shopify, Square, Rippling, and Toast. This role is open to candidates who love crafting clean, fast, and intuitive user experiences, are comfortable with ambiguity, write maintainable, high-quality code, and are willing to contribute to the engineering culture. Candidates should be skilled in backend or frontend development (or both) and willing to work across the stack when needed.

We’re on a mission to give brands between $5M and $200M in sales the financial capabilities of the largest brands — but without needing the extra head count. How do we do this?
