
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving problems, and can toggle between deep analysis and hands-on execution.
What You'll Do
Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain revenue projections, analyze gross vs. net, and identify growth trends and financial insights.
Data Analysis & SQL: Use SQL to answer operational questions (e.g., “What’s the recruiter drop-off rate after 3 months?”), draw insights from raw data, and work with our product and data teams as needed.
Accounting & Finance Operations: Own key finance workflows including accounts receivable/payable, vendor management, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
Legal & Compliance: Coordinate with external counsel on contracts, compliance issues, and general legal needs.
Fundraising Support & Investor Relations: Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to prepare fundraising materials, manage investor updates, and drive diligence processes.
Strategic Execution: Propose and implement high-leverage operational initiatives—no ivory-tower strategy; we expect you to build and own the work from start to finish.
We're Looking for Someone Who
Has 2–6 years of experience in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
Has a strong foundation in financial modeling, accounting principles, and data analysis.
Is proficient in SQL and comfortable digging into messy data to answer strategic questions.
Has experience in a startup or fast-paced environment; understands what it means to wear multiple hats.
Graduated from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
Is low ego, open-minded, intellectually curious, and enjoys asking good questions.
Is a critical thinker who can synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Has the bias to action to not only recommend solutions, but roll up their sleeves and implement them.
Values execution and accountability as much as strategy.
