Tofu is looking for a proactive, fast-moving, and empathetic Customer Onboarding Manager that will work closely with our customers during the first few months as they onboard to Tofu. Ideally this person has experience with martech/salestech products and complex SaaS products. You’ll play a critical role in defining many of our GTM decisions including improving and documenting our onboarding process, helping diagnose and resolve technical issues, pilot to annual contract conversion, customer adoption and satisfaction, and translating customer feedback and bugs to the product and engineering teams. About the Role
Tofu is looking for a resilient, compassionate and creative customer success manager that will work closely with our customers and make them successful with Tofu. You’ll play a critical role in defining many of our GTM decisions including playing a large part in the overall onboarding process, helping diagnose and resolve technical issues, pilot to annual contract conversion, customer adoption and satisfaction, and translating customer feedback and bugs to the product and engineering teams. We are looking for a doer who loves working closely with customers to understand their requirements and goals, helping troubleshoot when things go wrong, and ensuring that they are successful and see positive ROI from Tofu’s product.

Responsibilities
Own and run all customer onboarding processes
Build relationships with current customers and promote usage and product adoption
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues and bugs that arise
Perform bi-weekly check-ins with all customers to solicit feedback, answer questions, and support product usage
Work closely with the product and engineering team to resolve customer issues and bugs that are surfaced by customers
Help define and manage our pilot to annual contract conversion process
Aggregate customer feature requests and product feedback and translate into prioritized product requirements
Partner with Sales to narrow and refine ICP and help inform the overall sales process
Drive customer expansion, upsell, and retention

Qualifications
3+ years of enterprise CSM/AM experience or marketing experience. Bonus points for people with experience in Marketing/Sales tech
Previous startup experience helpful but not required
Proven track record of driving customer adoption and success within enterprise SaaS
Strong understanding of Customer Success best practices, methodologies, and tools
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Data-driven mindset with attention to detail and documentation
Deep level of customer empathy and patience
Comfortable with technical concepts and working with product/engineering teams  
Ability to manipulate HTML, understand technical concepts and bugs, and communicate effectively with the engineering team to resolve issues
Proactive, self-starter who is comfortable with autonomy but knows when to lean on other people

What you’re signing up for
We’re looking for an experienced Demand Generation lead to help us drive demand through a wide variety of experiments. We have a core inbound/SEO/social channel working, and now our goal is to amplify marketing efforts. More than anything, the role will require rigorous experimentation, data analysis & doubling down on what works best. You will be measured on opportunities created for sales, here’s a list of things you could be working on:

Paid advertising across multiple channels

Lead and execute our paid search and social strategy across platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, etc.)

Experiment with diverse copy, landing pages, and campaigns to drive high-intent leads.

Continuously optimize ads and use data to decide which ads to scale up.

Events, both in-person conferences and webinars

Identify and secure speaking or sponsoring opportunities for Vellum's leadership. Coordinate all aspects of speaker engagements, including presentation development, logistics, and follow-up activities.

Collaborate closely with our sales team to ensure effective pre-event and post-event prospect outreach and nurturing.

Develop event goals and track metrics that are essential to the success of all Vellum’s events, such as: promotion tactics, leads, and opportunities created.

Account Based Marketing

Craft and execute email campaigns to engage and convert target accounts.

Utilize insights from our own product data to deliver highly personalized and contextual emails.
