The Chapter President serves as the chair of the Executive Board and manages the day-to-day operations of the chapter in between official chapter meetings. He will oversee all chapter meetings and is expected to be proficient with parliamentary procedure. He shall serve as an ex-officio member of all chapter committees. He shall oversee the operations of all Executive Board officers. He shall appoint committee chairs and other positions within the chapter with the approval of the Executive Board. He shall serve as the primary liaison to the local community, school administration, Greek community, International Headquarters and all other appropriate audiences. He shall lead the rituals of the Fraternity. He shall perform all other duties as assigned by the Executive Board or the chapter’s governing documents.

The Supreme Council of Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity meets three times per year; once in the fall, once in the spring and once combined with the International Convention. Collectors help critical businesses like doctor's offices and local governments, who deal with high payment default risk, secure their revenue streams and ensure their continued survival.

In truth, Collectors have incredibly interesting, multi-faceted jobs. They are often one part sales person, one part therapist, and one part detective in their mission to recover funds. At Aktos, we are building a modern software platform that caters to Collectors' unique workflows, and make the credit recovery process a more positive experience for all parties.

It is structured like a CRM, but it keeps track of delinquent accounts a collection agency is working instead of sales leads. There is a heavy fintech component as well, as we do multiple payment processor integrations.

Aktos is looking for a Staff Fullstack Engineer!This person should have 5-8 YOE, know Django, and have some FE experience (they will be 80% backend, 20% FE).This is a pivotal role aimed at building the Operating System for the $18B Credit Collections industry. This position is designed for an engineer with a lean towards backend development (80/20), who is comfortable working across the entire tech stack.Our Senior Fullstack Engineer will collaborate with our CEO, CTO, and other engineers to develop full-stack features and improvements, refine the SDLC &amp; CI/CD pipelines, and maintain the AWS infrastructure. This position is for those who are comfortable with autonomy, ownership, and have a strong work ethic, with a passion for delivering high-quality code and making sound UX decisions.
