This role involves building effective cross-functional partnerships with data producers and consumers and ensuring the delivery of reliable, timely, cost-efficient, and high-performing central datasets and instrumentation to meet critical business needs.The ideal candidate will stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends in data engineering and software development. They must have a proven track record of at least 5 years in engineering management, particularly in large-scale data processing and instrumentation. Strong familiarity with Kafka, Flink, Spark, Hadoop, Iceberg, Airflow S3, data modeling, relational databases, columnar databases, and data serialization formats such as Avro, Thrift, and Protobuf is essential.
