The Role | Mobile Engineering Lead

We are looking for a seasoned software engineer and technical leader to help envision and build out this mobile application. You’ll be a critical part of Sauron’s roadmap as you work on developing performance-critical user experiences which are the primary user touchpoint for our entire system.

Your Background Includes

5+ years of extensive, current experience architecting and building reliable, scalable, maintainable high-performance mobile applications.

A strong portfolio of applications that showcase engaging 3D visual elements.

Experience with native iOS development.

Proficiency in mobile programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, or similar.

User-centric perspective, and solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.

Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with designers, product owners, and engineers in other domains.

Nice to Have (familiarity with/desire to learn)

Experience with React Native (or similar modern frontend frameworks) and TypeScript/JavaScript.

Knowledge of backend services integration (RESTful APIs, JSON, etc.).

Experience with 3D graphics libraries/frameworks (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, OpenGL, Metal).

Familiarity with end-to-end testing frameworks.

CI/CD systems.

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

You should have the following

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Working knowledge of Altium 
Knowledge of PCB design and manufacturing
DFM experience through work, internships, or hobbies 
SMD soldering and rework experience
PCB bring up and testing (DMM, Oscilloscope, …)
A strong sense of urgency to manufacture, build, and develop 
Ability to obtain US top secret security clearance
